Excellent! An El Niño is always great news for us in New Mexico: "An El Niño, expected to potentially influence weather in 2026, typically brings cooler and wetter conditions to New Mexico during the winter and spring, offering a high chance of above-average precipitation and snowpack. It often strengthens the subtropical jet stream, guiding more storms into the Southwest, aiding in drought relief."

And of course the ENSO more strongly influences our weather, and shows excellent correlation to drought cycles going back for millennia, than any alleged CO2 effects.
